Shelley used to dress up her friends in the neighborhood and do fashion shoots. “I'd use a blow dryer to make their hair blow, and everything,” she recalls. She even made calendars with her dog. “For September, she’d be surrounded by books and pencils, and for December she’d be wrapped in garlands.”
Through high school, Shelley was determined to pursue her dream despite her remarkable aptitude for math. “In senior year, my teacher was pretty disappointed when I took photography instead of Calculus 2,” she remembers.
Today, Shelley enjoys working with people and creating beautiful images. “I love photographing architecture because each project takes me somewhere new,” she says, “It's fun to experience new places. I never get bored. I absolutely LOVE what I do, and I am so grateful that I’m here doing it!”
